Meet My Illustrator

Maria Salerno is a friend of the Franco family. At time of publication, she was a student at Carthage College, in Wisconsin, majoring in English and Marketing with a minor in German. She was a writer for the college chapter of Odyssey. Her illustrations for this book were inspired by her brother, Nicholas, who has special needs. When not writing, she enjoys playing piano and tennis, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends.
